Some trees with unacceptable levels of risk are best removed. If possible, plant a new tree in an appropriate place as a replacement.

Your property can be beautiful and healthy - and designed in a way that suits your needs. Whether you want a tree removed or simply moved - we can help.
It is not always immediately apparent whether a tree should be removed, or if it is safe to allow the tree to remain in place. Not every dead tree has to be removed. Trees that don’t pose a risk to people or property can often be left without intervention. We understand tree health and safety and can provide an expert assessment of your tree’s health by studying the trunk, branches, sprouts and location.
There are many reasons to grind the stump remaining after a tree is removed.
In finished landscapes we recommend the stump be ground to below surface grade. Aesthetically, if a tree stump is left in the center of an otherwise pristine lawn, it might seem out of place. Additionally, stumps can become insurance issues should they cause trip and fall accidents. When a tree stump is left to naturally decay near a home or patio, it becomes a home for insects, and a food source for fungal and bacterial growth - and can be a health hazard.
